This is a work photo. You know—staring into the middle distance, pensive but assured, no loud colors or graphic tees, that sorta thing. More than anything, it’s simply available, right here on my work laptop, which is the device I’m using to “upload a photo,” as Squarespace asked. I imagine I’ll replace it with something candid and hands-on before anyone ever reads this. Something obscured and cool and much less dorky. What work laptop, you ask?
Until I quit my day job, I’m a Creative Director with a focus on non-profit clients who are trying to better this world a little in one way or another. At the start of my career I worked on clients like Jack In The Box and Breville, but we don’t really choose the starts of our careers, do we, and I fortunately found my way toward more meaningful work. (Until the next quarter-life crisis throws me into a hedonic tail-spin, anyway!)
This website is solely for some of the film & video work I’ve created as a writer and/or director. And maybe to give some accountability to whatever personal project I’m currently working on. My broader advertising portfolio will be a different website altogether, a far more ambitious and unendingly-procrastinated affair, which will probably go live in 2024.
